MOCSA stands for 'Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault'. One in six women will be a victim of attempted or completed rape in her lifetime, and less than 20 percent of rapes will ever be reported. That's why MOCSA has made it their mission to improve the lives of victims of sexual assault. As a small child, MOCSA provided me with the therapy and support I needed to develop me into the person I am today. I honestly don't know where I would be without them. MOCSA provides counseling, education, and 24 hour victim support for adults and children. Their volunteers work tirelessly to improve the lives of victims, and provide counseling services for those who may not otherwise be able to afford them. Here at ESCO, we love MOCSA. Your donation goes towards helping keep the 24-hour crisis line and hospital advocacy programs operating 365 days a year, covering a consultation and planning session for a family member so healing can continue at home, and/or providing one hour of much-needed play therapy and case management services for the 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys who will be victims of sexual assault or abuse. Thank you, MOCSA!
